1. Plans
Four plans, the same Wayli on iPhone and on the web. Each one includes everything in the plan before it, and more — more searches, more new places, more tours, or more days to use them.
- 3-day pass — $3.99
- One-time purchase for 3 days. Pay once — it never renews. Every day: 10 new-place searches, 75 new places, 5 tours and 20 new narrations — up to 30 searches and 15 tours over the 3 days. For a weekend or a short city break.
- 7-day pass — $5.99
- One-time purchase for 7 days. Pay once — it never renews. Everything in the 3-day pass for a whole week — up to 70 searches and 35 tours over the 7 days. For a week-long trip.
- Monthly — $14.99 / month
- Subscription that renews automatically every month until you cancel. More searches, places and tours every day than a pass: 15 new-place searches, 100 new places and 7 tours, plus 20 new narrations. For regular exploring at home and away. Paid with PayPal on the web, it is a one-time 30-day pass at the same price that never renews.
- 3 months — $24.99 / 3 months
- Subscription that renews automatically every 3 months until you cancel. Everything in Monthly for 3 months, at about $8.33 a month. For a season of walks. Paid with PayPal on the web, it is a one-time 90-day pass at the same price that never renews.
Every step up includes more
- Free — 5 new-place searches, 50 new places, 3 tours and 5 new narrations a day
- 3-day and 7-day passes — 10 new-place searches, 75 new places, 5 tours and 20 new narrations a day
- Monthly and 3 months — 15 new-place searches, 100 new places, 7 tours and 20 new narrations a day
Passes never renew. A 3-day or 7-day pass is one payment, on iPhone or on the web. Every plan paid with PayPal is also a one-time pass, including the 30-day and 90-day passes. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal, no charge after it ends and nothing to cancel.
Prices are in US dollars. The App Store and Paddle checkout show the price in your local currency, including any VAT or sales tax that applies, before you pay — local prices may differ. PayPal orders are charged the listed price in US dollars, and that is the amount you pay; PayPal converts under its own terms if your account uses another currency.
2. Without a plan
Signed in without a plan, you get a free daily allowance — currently 5 new-place searches, 50 new places, 3 tours and 5 new narrations per day — so you can see how Wayli works before you buy.
3. What the limits mean
- New-place searches — discovery runs that find new places around you.
- New places — places added to your map per day, across those searches.
- Tours — walks built for you per day.
- New narrations — the first play of a story that has no audio yet, narrated for you.
Listening to stories that already have audio, and walking tours you already have, is never limited. Every plan's limits are there for fair use and reset daily. In some featured launch cities the daily limits are temporarily higher.
When you buy a plan
- A new purchase starts your day fresh. Shortly after you buy a pass or start a subscription, what you have already used today is reset to zero and the new limits apply in full, including when you move up from the free allowance. Free trials, renewals and changing your subscription plan do not reset the day.
- A pass on top of a subscription adds up. While the pass lasts, your daily limits are the subscription's and the pass's together. For example, Monthly plus a 3-day pass gives 25 new-place searches, 175 new places, 12 tours and 40 new narrations a day for those 3 days, then you are back to the Monthly limits.
- Two passes add up too while both are running. Buying the same pass again adds its days to the end of the one you have.
- PayPal passes are passes here too. A PayPal 30-day or 90-day pass has the Monthly limits, but it counts as a pass: it adds up with a subscription and with other passes while it lasts, instead of replacing them.
- Subscriptions do not add up. Changing from Monthly to 3 months, or the other way round, replaces your subscription: you get the limits of one subscription at a time.
4. Where to buy
- iPhone — in the Wayli app, as an App Store in-app purchase. Apple bills you.
- Web — Paddle checkout — our order process is handled by Paddle.com, the merchant of record for these orders.
- Web — PayPal, where offered in the web app — sold directly by SOSW LTD, with PayPal as the payment processor. One-time passes that never renew: 3-day $3.99, 7-day $5.99, 30-day $14.99, 90-day $24.99. PayPal checkout is not available in the iPhone app.
- Android — coming later.
5. One account, everywhere
A plan belongs to your Wayli account, not to a device or a store. Buy it on iPhone and it also works in the web app at app.wayli.ai, and the other way round — just sign in with the same Wayli account.
6. Questions
How do I cancel?
App Store subscriptions: iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Paddle web subscriptions: use the link in your Paddle receipt email, go to paddle.net, or write to hello@wayli.ai. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. PayPal purchases are one-time passes, so there is nothing to cancel.
Can I get a refund?
See our refund policy. In short: web purchases through Paddle or PayPal can be refunded in full within 14 days of a charge or payment; App Store refunds are handled by Apple. See the PayPal refund details for how refunds and disputes end access to that pass.
How do I restore purchases?
In the iPhone app, open Plans and tap "Restore purchases". Web purchases through Paddle or PayPal are linked to your account automatically when you are signed in.
Does my plan work on the web and on my phone?
Yes. Your plans belong to your Wayli account, and they work everywhere you sign in with that account.
What do I get with a bigger plan?
Everything the smaller plan has, and more. A pass raises the free daily limits, the 7-day pass keeps them for a whole week, Monthly raises searches, places and tours again, and 3 months keeps the Monthly limits for a whole season at the lowest price per month.
I already have a subscription. Is a pass worth buying?
Yes, if you need more for a few days: a pass adds its daily limits to your subscription's for as long as it lasts, and today's usage starts again from zero shortly after you buy it. See When you buy a plan.
Do passes renew?
No, never. The 3-day and 7-day passes are one-time purchases: one payment, no subscription, no charge after the pass ends and nothing to cancel. Only the Monthly and 3-month plans bought on the App Store or through Paddle renew, until you cancel. The PayPal 30-day and 90-day passes never renew.
What currency are prices in, and are taxes included?
The prices on this page are US dollar prices. At checkout the App Store or Paddle shows the price in your local currency together with any VAT or sales tax that applies. PayPal orders are charged the listed US dollar price, and that is the amount you pay. If your PayPal account uses another currency, PayPal converts under its own terms.
7. Who sells Wayli
Wayli is operated by SOSW LTD (details in the terms). Web orders through Paddle checkout are sold by our reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record; web orders paid with PayPal are sold directly by SOSW LTD, with PayPal as the payment processor; in-app purchases on iPhone are sold by Apple. Payment, renewals and taxes are covered in our terms of service, refunds in the refund policy, and purchase data in the privacy policy.
